The Government intends to invest £177,000 to inprove broadband services in Northern Ireland. Two companies have been awarded the money – Net I Limited and North West Electronics.
North West Electronics will extend into the Foyle Basin and North Sperrin areas of County Londonberry whilst Net I Ltd. will develop its broadband infrastructure into County Fermanagh.
Net l will offer services to Marlbank , Belcoo, lattone, Drumculley and Kinawley. North West electronics will deal with Park, Greysteel and Macosquin.
It is considered vital that higher speed broadband services are made widely available across Northern Ireland and this work will enable some of the most rural areas in Northern Ireland to benefit.
The investment was made through the £1.9 million Broadband Fund.
